The works on this CD were composed especially for this recording by the composer David del Puerto<\/strong>, as an artistic gesture of commitment and presence: a way of being there, of accompanying, and of taking an active part in the creation of a singular project with its own identity. At its core, it is about helping to shape an authentic, recognisable musical voice. <\/p>\n

The guitar, an extraordinarily supple and expressive instrument, moves naturally between the roots of folklore and the most current languages of contemporary music. This project sits in that fertile territory: a space where tradition and the avant-garde converse freely. <\/p>\n
